Overview

This exciting overnight sail/snorkel adventure leaves our dock Friday, sailing along the Belize Barrier Reef with fantastic snorkel stops along the way.  You will get to experience the barrier reef, fishing, snorkeling, and sailing to Goff’s Caye Reserve, while collecting lobster, conch, (seasonal) and fish along the way to be prepared daily. Enjoy an overnight camping under the stars on this remarkable tiny island.  Come join us onboard on this stunning tour of the barrier reef.

This tour will depart from the Rainbow Restaurant dock.

Trip Highlight

  • Spend time exploring the barrier reef and all it has to offer.
  • See and interact with a variety of marine life.
  • Spend a relaxing and quiet night on one of our small cayes.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Day 1

8:00am - Departure from Caye Caulker
8:30am - Breakfast (provided)
9:00-11:00am - Sail ride to the barrier reef
11:00-12:30pm - Explore/snorkel the barrier reef
12:30pm - Lunch (provided)
1:30-4:00pm - Explore the barrier reef some more
4:00-5:00pm - Head to the caye for the night, dinner with catch of the day

Day 2 :
Day 2

9:00am - Departure from Caye
9:30-12:00pm - Sail/snorkel in the barrier reef
12:00pm - Lunch (provided)
12:30-2:00pm - Sail/snorkel in the barrier reef
2:00-4:00pm - Sail trip back to Caye Caulker

Why Reef-friendly sun-screen? And what brands do you recommend?

To help preserve our coral that is still alive, we highly recommend you use reef-friendly sunscreen. Non-reef friendly sunscreen has a lot of chemicals (like Octinoxate & Oxybenzone) that are extremely harmful to the marine life. But not only are they harmful to marine life, these exact same chemicals are also harmful to the human body. So you are actually doing yourself a favor by using reef-friendly sunscreen!

A few brands we in Belize recommend are:

-Sun Bum Original Sunscreen Lotion – Vegan and Reef Friendly (Octinoxate & Oxybenzone Free)
-Babo Botanicals Clear Zinc Sunscreen
-Blue Lizard Sport Mineral-Based Sunscreen – No Oxybenzone, No Octinoxate

If a tour does not meet the minimum passengers by one week before departure we may contact you and offer to reschedule to another date/tour or offer you to upgrade to a private tour to cover our minimum operational costs.
